The Wood
preservation plant (UPM) supplies products for the
most varied uses to locations across the country.
The cut is made according to our client’s
needs, the diameter ranging from 8cm to 30 cm.
Among the most frequent uses of treated wood
are the civil construction and electric and telephonic
poles. Its rusticity is ideal for internal spaces
(apparent wood to support mezzanines) as well as
external ones (wood beams). The product offered
by FLOSUL may be also utilized in aquatic ambient
due to the chemical treatment it receives.
After extracted from the forest, the wood undergoes
a natural drying process and later a chemical treatment
of vacuum/pressure system in autoclave. This process
utilizes the water soluble CCA preservative, the
wood preserver most used in the world. This procedure
increases the lifetime of the wood, protecting it
from fungi, insects and borers. This chemical process
follows the international technical rules.
FLOSUL’s treated wood accepts paint, dye and
glue finishing.
