Flosul
inaugurates new saw-mill
Equipped with next generation technology to
double eucaliptus wood, the new Flosul saw-mill
started operating seated in Capivari do Sul,
State of Rio Grande do Sul.
The first rate technology of the new equipment,
associated with the wood of international rate
forest, developed during the last 40 years,
will permit the production and offer of sawn
wood of superior quality, with a capacity rate
of production of about 30%.
With a huge investment in this new saw-mill
Flosul beguins again a new area of its history,
stating its compromise in the development of
products and widening the offer of high grade
wood for the intern market and specially for
export. |

| FLOSUL's forest
reserve holds under sustainable management
an area of 6.000 hectares, 4.500 hectares
reserved for Eucalyptus spp. and 1.000 hectares
for Pinus spp. The Eucalyptus Grandis is predominant
due to its rapid growth and high productivity,
optimum adaptation to local conditions, function
versatility and suitability for solid products. |
